It was simply a love for sports which got Bubba Edwards into the coaching profession. “Back in college, I was a photographer at KLBK (TV) in Lubbock to help me get through college. I’ve always loved sports and back then they sent me out to film a lot of Friday night football games. I just loved being around the game,” Edwards said. “But what probably topped it off as much as anything was when I coached intramural girls basketball. I really enjoyed that.
