Despite the tough competition on the District 8-1A hardwoods, Dawson Coach Layne Sheets continues to find a silver lining in the play of his Dragons.
Friday’s 57-39 loss at Meadow was no exception.
“Our guys are starting to put up more points,” Sheets said.
The Dragons trailed 25-11 at the end of the first quarter and 45-20 at the half.
Angel Ramirez’s 17 points topped the Dragons. His total included five three-pointers.
Sam Penner also found double digits Friday night with 12 points.
