Local high school barbecuing teams returned last weekend from the state championship in Llano with more than just new recipes. Three Lamesa High School (LHS), two O’Donnell High School and two Sands High School barbecue teams brought home honors after competing in five divisions: ribs, chicken, brisket, beans and dessert.
