The Sands Mustangs swept their District 8-1A high school varsity basketball doubleheader against Klondike Friday night out at Ackerly.
Sands’ girls were presented their second straight District 8-1A championship trophy in front of their home fans shortly after trouncing Klondike, 48-14.
The Mustang girls are now 21-2 overall and 9-0 in 8-1A play. Klondike is 2-23 on the year.
