The Sands Mustangs got denied one gold ball by Klondike in last week’s Division II District 4-A six-man football championship game, but they didn’t have to wait long to get one.Despite going into last Friday’s bi-district playoff game against Whitharral as 14-point underdogs, that didn’t keep the Mustangs down.
