The Sands Mustangs continue turning in strong performances in cross country competition this season. With both its girls and boys teams state ranked, Sands enjoyed another clean sweep at last Saturday’s Lubbock Invitational at Mae Simmons Park. “Our times were a little slower this weekend but I thought our kids still competed hard,” Sands Coach Dustin Wall said. “It was pretty hot up there..” With three of their girls in the top five, the Mustang girls won their third straight meet.
