A year ago the Sands Mustangs came up just short of kicking off their season in the win column at Roby as the Lions survived in a 49-48 nailbiter. Unfortunately for Mustang fans Friday night at Ackerly, there wasn’t nearly as much excitement when these two six-man football teams met again on opening night.
