After struggling at times to avoid being upset in their first-round playoff game on Tuesday, the Sands High School girls basketball team turned the tables and pulled an upset of their own in the second round on Friday evening. With a dominating second quarter, the Lady ‘Stangs rolled to a 46-37 win over Whiteface in an area-round playoff game at Denver City.
