Sands’ girls basketball team improved its season record to 12-1 with an easy 46-14 road win over Meadow on Tuesday. Sands jumped out to a 29-7 halftime lead in that game. “The girls came out and played really well in the first quarter, and that took the confidence away from Meadow,” Sands Coach Ben Connell said. “I loved the girls’ effort.
