As if showing down Borden County’s high octane softball team isn’t hard enough on the opposition throw in the fact that the hard-hitting Coyotes got 14 free bases from O’Donnell pitchers and a game which went only three innings was still a long night. The Coyotes got their third straight district win in convincing fashion shutting out the Eagles, 20-0.“We really didn’t swing a bat very much tonight. It seemed like we either walked or got hit by pitches pretty much all night,” Borden County Coach Bubba Edwards said. The now 5-4 Coyotes were walked eight times and got hit by six pitches.
