Lamesa High School’s Golden Tornado softball team picked a good time to put on an overwhelming offensive showing at the plate. Opening the playoffs on Friday evening at Lubbock against Borger, the Golden Tornadoes knocked three balls out of the park and did not record a single strikeout en route to a 17-0 victory.
