The O’Donnell Eagles spli their District 6-1A basketball doubleheader Friday night at Petersburg.
Coach Allison Hancock’s Eagle girls got their first district win of the season by knocking off the Buffaloes, 57-46.
Up 18-13 at the end of the first quarter, the now Eagle girls outscored the Buffaloes, 17-11, in the second quarter.
“It went pretty well for us tonight,” Hancock said. “Our girls did a good job of running an offense which is still a little new to us.”
Both O’Donnell and Petersburg scored 22 points each in the second half.
