A gutsy pitching performance by junior Mason Bolton wasn’t enough Saturday as the O’Donnell Eagles were shut out by the Tahoka Bulldogs, 7-0.“Mason probably pitched one of his best games. He’s really been working hard,” O’Donnell Coach Justin Ramirez said. “In his last two games combined Mason’s got like 17 strikeouts in nine innings and has given up only seven hits.”The Bulldogs did their damage early, scoring two runs in the first inning and five in the second inning.Bolton struck out 13, gave up six hits and walked only two in the complete-game performance.
