Klondike and O’Donnell came away with a split in their boys and girls varsity basketball games on Monday evening at O’Donnell.
The Lady Eagles defeated Klondike’s girls, 57-48.
“From the beginning they took control of the game,” O’Donnell Coach Taylor Feliciano said of her players.
“They’re really working hard. I can’t complain. I’m excited to see how the year plays out for them.”
O’Donnell held a slim 28-27 halftime lead but came out strong and outscored the Lady Cougars 17-6 in the pivotal third quarter.
Zaelan Gloria had 25 points and Emily Renteria added 14 to lead O’Donnell’s scoring.
