The Sands Mustangs continue to be recognized among this state’s best Class 1A girls basketball teams, ranked 10th in this week’s state poll. Coach Ben Connell’s ladies continued playing like a Top-10 team Tuesday evening at Wink, rolling past the Wildcats, 71-36. “Our girls came out hot. We hit like 12 threes tonight.
