The Sands Mustangs have gotten a good start on their bid to return to the UIL Class 1A State Cross Country Championships.They made a strong showing at Tuesday’s District 8A Meet at Lubbock Christian University.“We had another good day,” Sands Coach Dustin Wall said.Sweeping the top three individual honors, Sands boys were crowned district champs.
