Sands High School track coach Steve Keith commented after Thursday’s Badger Relays at Merkel that some of the bigger schools had never heard of the school or the Sands community prior to the meet. “As it turned out, we were glad to get the chance to run against some of those bigger schools since they really pushed us this week,” Coach Keith said.
