Both of Sands High School’s cross country teams are state ranked. Both squads opened up their seasons in strong fashion as they enjoyed a clean sweep last Saturday at Lubbock Christian University. With four of their runners finishing among the Top 10, Sands’ girls took top overall honors. The Mustang boys had three of their runners finish among the Top 10 en route to the championship trophy.
