After winning their own tournament the weekend before, the Sands Mustang boys basketball team keeps on rolling, winning two out of three games this past weekend in the Ira Tournament.The Mustang boys opened up that tournament by galloping Bronte, 64-24, last Thursday in their first game in that tournament.Xavier Cisneros and Carlos Plata led the Mustangs’ attack against the Longhorns with 14 points each.The Mustangs boys lost their second game in that tournament to Buena Vista 54-52, in overtime.. This was Sands’ boys first setback of this season.The Mustang boys finished up this tournament by rolling past Midland IDEA, 94-26.
