Golden Tornado senior Isabelle Moreau finished her high school track career Thursday morning in the Class 3A State Track & Field Championships at Austin. Moreau finished eighth in the 3A state long jump at 16 feet one and one half inch at Mike A. Myers Stadium on the campus of the University of Texas. Daingerfield’s Ashlyn Bruce was crowned the 3A state champion with a jump 18 feet one and one half inches. Bruce was the lone 3A girl athlete to jump 18 feet or better Thursday.
