There is a good chance that Lamesa’s Jadeyn Merrill spent most of her young life being compared to her older sister, Harley Merrill, when it came to the softball diamond. After helping lead the Borden County Coyotes to the state softball tournament last year as a senior, Harley Merrill earned all-state recogntion. As a member of the Golden Tornadoes’ softball program this year, freshman Jadeyn Merrill has proved herself to be pretty talented in the circle as well.
