Chris Mason has been four places since he was a 16-year-old high school sophomore through basketball. No. 1 Lamesa. No. 2 Angelo State University. No. 3 LaPorte. No. 4 Texas City. The 1985 Lamesa High School graduate was a twotime all-stater here before going on to playing college ball at Angelo State University where he enjoyed a Hall-of-Fame career with the Rams.
