Golden Tornado senior Jocelyn Marroquin came home with a medal from Thursday’s Texas High School Women’s Powerlifting Association Class 3A State Championships at the American Bank Center Arena in Corpus Christi.Marroquin finished fifth in the 114-pound weight class after squatting 280 pounds, bench pressing 170 and deadlifting 290 for a total of 740 pounds.“That was one of those awesome moments.
