Golfers can expect some changes in how the municipal golf course is operated. The Lamesa Municipal Golf Advisory Board, which helps oversee the course, has a new president. Ronn Mann recently took over the board after the former president stepped down. City council members on Tuesday officially appointed Mann, a former council member, along with some new and current board members. Jay Defee is vice-president and Wally Garza serves is treasurer/secretary. Board members are Bobby Gonzales, Joe Solis, Tom Anderson, and Jackie Batchelor.
