The Klondike Cougars face longtime rival Sands next week in a game which could go a long ways in determining the champion in six-man football’s Division II District 1-4A. If Friday’s long 200-mile road trip north to Amarillo is any sign, Klondike Coach Dalton DeGraffenreid’s Cougars will be ready.
