Lamesa’s junior high volleyball squads started their seasons on shaky ground here Thursday evening against the Greenwood Rangerettes.
The Golden Tors lost Thursday’s eighth grade A team match, 25-14. 25-21.
“Really, our girls did a good job for our first match. I’m proud of their effort and attitudes,” Coach Liz Castro said.
“With continued work, these girls will find success.”
The Golden Tors lost the eighth grade B team match to Greenwood, 25-10, 25-6.
