Lamesa’s junior high football teams finished their seasons here Thursday by winning all three games against the Brownfield Cubs. “It was time to get those dust brooms out because we got the sweep,” Coach Bobby Alvarez said. “Things look pretty bright around here.” A strong first half helped pave the way in the Lamesa eighth grade A team’s 44-24 win over the Cubs.
