O’Donnell’s high school baseball field is named Austin Field in the honor of the Eagles’ Austin Gass who, lost his life in an automobile accident in 2005. After another tragic wreck claimed the life of another young man in that same extended family, plans are underway to rename O’Donnell’s Little League ballpark the Conlin Small Field.
