After winning their first three games in this weekend’s Monahans Sandhills Tournament, the Golden Tornadoes’ softball team is off to a hot 4-0 start. “This tournament’s not only giving us a chance to see some different caliber of competition, but it was also a good test for where we are endurance wise,” Golden Tor Coach Vanessa Hernandez said. “This tournament should give us a good opportunity to see where we’re at, as far as our team strengths and weaknesses.” After finishing up play in this weekend’s tournament, the Golden Tor softballers will be back in action Tuesday evening at Andrews. “Andrews is one of ...
