Lamesa High School’s varsity boys basketball team turned back a fourth-quarter run by Kermit to capture a 63-48 win here on Friday night at Follis Gymnasium. The Golden Tornadoes jumped out to an 18-8 lead in the first quarter and held a 32-20 advantage at halftime. Lamesa opened up an 18-point margin at 48-30 after three quarters.
