Lamesa’s varsity boys basketball team held off a late rally by Muleshoe to capture a 58-55 win this past Saturday in their final game of the Wildcat Classic at Littlefield. Lamesa led 32-26 at halftime and 44-32 after three quarters. Muleshoe came back to outscore the Golden Tornadoes 23-15 in the final period but it was not enough to overcome Lamesa’s lead.
