As he readies for his fourth season as the Golden Tornadoes’ head baseball coach, Bobby Alvarez announced this week he’ll be having tryouts at 4:30 p.m. Friday at Lamesa’s Joe Spikes Field. “One of the first things we’ll be looking for is some guys who’ve got some speed.
