A nail-biter between the Sands and Klondike boys basketball teams went down to the very last second on Tuesday evening. Actually, it went down to the last half-second. Sands’ Jayden Wigington sank two free throws with just 0.48 of a second showing on the clock to give the Mustangs a 48-47 win at Klondike. “It was amazing to win like that,” Sands Coach Billy Grumbles said afterward.
