As surprising as it might sound, especially for somebody who has had such success coaching high school softball, Bobby Feaster never has been to the state tournament.
Now, a year and a half after retiring from 33 years of coaching and teaching, Feaster is finally going to make that trip as Borden County’s head coach this spring with his Region 1-1A champion Lady Coyotes.
“I’ve just never felt that I wanted to make this trip unless I was taking a team down there,” Feaster said.
“I’ve just always felt like it was something that we had to earn. But it’s nothing about me.
