Klondike High School’s volleyballers put together one of their best performances of the young season Tuesday evening at Grape Creek with a 25-14, 25-22, 22-25, 25-21 win over Hawley.
“I’m not sure what happened to us in that third set where we missed something like six serves. Other than that, all of our girls did their jobs which helped us play well as a team,” Klondike Coach Eva Myers said.
Hawley was a Class 2A regional tournament team a year ago.
Tuesday’s first match in that dual outing saw Klondike fall to Class 3A San Angelo Grape Creek, 26-28, 23-25, 20-25.
