An old rivalry was renewed Friday night at Klondike Gym where the Cougars took a pair from the Sands Mustangs in District 8-A hoop action.After trailing 13-6 at the end of the first quarter the Cougars were up 21-16 at the half.Sands was up 33-32 at the end of the third quarter.This game wasn’t determined until the closing moments.With 1:56 left in the fourth quarter, Sands’ Aubree Blissard hit a couple of free throws which tied the score at 43-all.
