Klondike swept Buena Vista in both boys and girls basketball action on Tuesday evening at Imperial Three players scored in double digits to lead the Klondike varsity girls to a 56-30 win. “I think our girls played really great team basketball,” Coach Xavier Elizondo said. “They did really great and won every quarter.” Klondike took control of the game in the first quarter, outscoring Buena Vista 16 points to only two for Buena Vista. The Lady Cougars led 28-11 at halftime. Haleigh Archer was the leading scorer for Klondike with 20 points, followed by Megan Arismendez with 14 points and Kasey Whitley with 12.
