The Klondike Cougar boys’ basketball squad booked a return trip back to the Class 1A playoffs Tuesday night at Cougar Gym as they knocked off Garden City, 52-30.
It was only a four-point game at the end of the first quarter but the Cougars started pulling away by outscoring the Bearkats, 15-6, in the second period to open up a 29-16 halftime advantage.
Klondike, 11-9 this season, outscored Garden City, 23- 14, in the second half.
