It took the Klondike Cougars only one half of football Friday night at Southland to get their first victory in a bid for the Division II District 4A six-man football title.The Cougars plucked the Eagles, 60-12, in their league opener, which was stopped at the half on the 45-point rule.“We started out a little rocky tonight before coming back and putting up 40 in that second quarter,” Klondike Coach Dalton DeGraffenreid said.The Cougars held Southland to only one TD in that second quarter.
