Lamesa’s junior high basketball girls made the long trip to Friona Thursday and came home with wins in three of their four games.
The Golden Tors won the eighth grade A game, 20-10, improving their season record to 4-3.
“Our girls played pretty well but we’ve still got improvement to make,” Coach Jeremy Hernandez said.
Lamesa rolled to a 19-4 victory in the eighth grade B game.
“Our intensity was better and we did a better job of finishing our shots. We also played a good game defensively,” Coach Liz Castro said.
The Golden Tors won the seventh grade A game, 22-5.
