Lamesa’s junior high football teams enjoyed a successful evening Thursday at Brownfield, winning three of their four games against the Cubs. All three wins came by shut outs.
Lamesa’s eighth grade A football team is now 5-1 on the year after shutting out the Cubs, 22-0.
“These guys are fun to watch,” Coach Bobby Alvarez said. “We had a good night defensively by having a shut out. Offensively, tonight was not our best night but we played well enough to overcome our mistakes.”
