Having parents as successful as hers were in high school couldn’t help but give Midland Christian’s Andie Sheppard a good feeling as she started her own athletic career. Andie’s parents, 1992 Lamesa High School graduates Brandon Sheppard and Emmy (DeFee) Sheppard, were both top quality athletes during their days with the Golden Tors. Brandon was a part-time starter on the Golden Tornadoes’ 1990 Class 4A Final Four basketball team.
