High school basketball officially made its return to Welch Friday night for the Dawson Dragons. After coming up short against Cotton Center, 37-23, the Dragon boys will have to wait at least another game to celebrate their first win but it’s still a good start for a program which has been on hold for a couple of years. “As excited as our guys were about just playing again, our community support tonight only added to it.
