Lamesa’s Jadeyn Merrill continues being recognized among the best in the state in what was her first year in high school. It was only a month ago when Merrill made first-team all-state by the Texas Girls Coaches Association. Just this past weekend, Merrill was named to another all-state list this time by the Texas Sportswriters Association.
