The Golden Tornado girls’ power lifting squad took fifth place out of 13 teams Thursday at Slaton. “Our girls really did a great job especially considering how young we are. We took eight girls to this meet and four of them were freshmen,” Golden Tor Coach Mario Gonzales said. “We grew up a lot in this meet.
