It was another exciting season on the area high school hardwoods, with seven local Class 1A hoop squads reaching the state playoffs. They also enjoyed success when they got to the playoffs, with one team going four rounds deep, two going three rounds into the playoff, and two others making it to the second round. It’s not surprising, then, that eight area hoopsters have earned earning allregion recognition from the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches.
