The last time the O’Donnell Eagles and Klondike Cougars met on the high school boys’ hardwoods last spring, a regional tournament berth was on the line.
The two highly touted boys hoop squads met again Tuesday night at Klondike’s Cougar Gymnasium and, just like they did a year ago, Coach Rocky Feliciano’s Eagles came out on top but this time in a 32-30 nailbiter.
“Our guys played hard tonight. They probably played better than what we did tonight but our guys just played harder,” Feliciano said.
