Coach Fernando Baeza’s O’Donnell Eagles finished their season Friday night against Division 1 Top 10 Knox City but not without getting the Greyhounds’ attention.
Things looked good early for the Eagles who were up 24-20 at the end of the first quarter and trailed by only 34-30 at the half.
It didn’t go as good for O’Donnell in the second half as the Greyhounds erupted for 36 third-quarter points. The Eagles managed to find the end zone only four times in the second half as Knox City prevailed, 84-60, in a wild bi-district match-up at Jayton.
