After guiding O’Donnell’s boys basketball squad to the playoffs in his first season as a high school head coach, Rocky Feliciano has been anxious to see what this season might bring for his Eagles.
A strong season-opening win only added to his enthusiasm.
O’Donnell’s boys tipped of their season Friday night with a 58-30 win over the Sands Mustangs.
“Our guys played with a ton of energy tonight,” Feliciano said.
Jonah Vasquez’s 18 points led a trio of Eagles in double digits. Elvis Garces had 14 points while Isaiah Fernanddez chipped in 10.
