Mario Dimas’s team shot a 27 to win the weekly scramble at the Lamesa Municipal Golf Course. Others on that team were Joe Soliz, Manuel Vasquez and Serapio Arguijo. This week’s closest-to-the-pin winners were David Knight on hole number two at three feet seven inches and Nathan Ruiz on hole number seven at one feet five inches. Lamesa Municipal hosts a scramble every Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. Registration fee is $25 for non-members and $20 for members. Golfers should sign up by noon each Wednesday. Registration continues until 6 p.m. Friday for the annual Wayne Hogg Memorial Golf Tournament here next Saturday and Sunday.
